Hello Everyone!

I have had quite a few people ask me aobut teaching another course beyond the equine massage therapy course. I have created 2 courses:

the 4 week massage therapy and vertebral realignment

the 7 day advanced equine massage therapy

The course information regarding the 4 week course is on a separate page - it can be accessed via the home page - just click on the flashing 'new'.

Do I qualify as a returning Grad?

Returning grads are people that have taken my massage course since 2008.

Grads prior to 2008 need to take the advanced massage portion of any massage class I teach - days 4-7 prior to taking this course. Returning grads may either take the entire 7 day course or just days 4-7 for 1/2 price.

As this advanced course builds on the advanced work from the 7 days course, this is a prerequisite.

What is taught?

In this 7 day course, we will take the time to explore each of the treatments taught in the first class. For some returning grads, it has been a few years, and this is an opportunity to 'wipe the cobwebs away'. For those that have recently graduated, as you know, during the first course, there is not a lot time to practice the various treatments.

The information taught on days 3-6 was jam packed with information - now there is an opportunity to really work with the horses! In this course, there is time to work with the horses, and each treatment is delved into with more hands on techniques - yes, I still have more techniques to teach yet! - along with more theory.

There is also new information regarding various therapy modalities - namely lots of fascia work, but there are a more!

We will also go through boney landmarks. Time permitting, we will either paint or chalk these areas on the horses, along with the major muscles.

What is the cost of this course?

This course is $700 + HST

You will also receive a certificate indicating the additional hours and education components.

How do I register?

Please go the 'application' form page - either on line or via mail.
