7 day Equine massage therapy courses

All provinces that do not have HST:

$800.00 + 5% GST = $840 - $100 deposit = $740 due on first day of class

Provinces that do have HST:

Ontario & Newfoundland: $800 + 13% HST = $914 - $100 deposit = $814 balance due on 1st day of class

Nova Sotia: $800 + 15% HST = $920 - $100 deposit = $820 balance due on 1st day of class

British Columbia: $800 + 12% HST = $896 - $100 deposit = $796 balance due on 1st day of class

Regarding all BC courses: when the provincial government changes the current HST to GST, then the course

cost will be adjusted accordingly. The taxes are charged at the time of the course.

4 week Equine massage therapy course:

Alberta: $2499.00 + 5% GST = 2623.95 - $250 deposit = 2373.95 balance due first day of class

Ontario: $2499.00 + 13% HST = 2823.87 - $250 deposit = $2573.87 balance due first day of class

For returning grads only from any massage course taught by me:

Alberta: $1999 + 5% GST = $2098.95 - $250 deposit = $1848.95 balance due first day of class

Ontario: $1999 + 13% HST = $2258.87 - $250 deposit = $2008.87 balance due first day of class

Equine vertbral realignment attendance course

All provinces that do not have the HST:

$500 + 5% GST = $525 - $100 deposit = $425 balance due first day of class

Provinces that do have HST:

Ontario: $500 + 13% HST = $565-$100 deposit = $465 balance due on first day of class

Nova Scotia : $500 + 15% HST = $575 - $100 deposit = $475 balance due on first day of class

British Columbia : $400 + 12% HST = $560 - $100 deposit = $460 balance due on first day of class

Advanced massage course days are:

Days 4-7: 8am-5pm, last day: 8am-12pm. ___________________________________________________________________________________________

Please note: Cheques are deposited two weeks prior to the course start date regardless of the date on the cheque. There is a $25 fee for any returned cheques.

You may cancel prior to two weeks of the course start date, and your cheque will be destroyed or if you have made a payment on line, it will be returned to you via cheque less the PayPal fee (see Cancellation policy).

Any cancellations within the two weeks prior to the course start date will result in forfeit of the deposit.

Although all courses are presumed to be moving forward, there is a class MINIUMUM of 6 students that must be registered. A final decision regarding a course is made no less than two weeks prior to the course start date.

If a class does not have the required number of students and the course is cancelled, then all students will be contacted, deposit cheques will be destroyed and any deposits via PayPal will be returned via cheque (not as a refund to the credit card) in their entirety.

If you do not receive a phone call to inform you of a cancellation, two weeks prior to the course start date, then it is to be presumed that the course is moving forward. You may e-mail (best) or call Sidonia to confirm a class is moving forward.

Upon receipt of your application, you will receive a either a confirmation call (please be sure to receive your messages from familty members if they have taken a message!) or e-mail indicating that your application has been received. You will be given the pass codes for the on line homework. This is the only phone call you will receive.

If you have made a payment on line, you will not receive a phone call as your homework information will be e-mailed to you at the time of your on line payment. The application form is for our files and the waiver is mandatory for all participants

Regardless of the date on the cheque (if the date is earlier than indicated below), all cheques are deposited 2 weeks prior to the course start date.

Please be at the facility on the first day of class at 7:45am, so class can begin promptly at 8am. There are some locations that have a high traffic volume, so please leave early! Please do a 'drive by' of the facility the day before the class if possible.

Massage classes are from 8-5pm daily. The last day of class will be concluded at noon.

Depending on the size of the vertebral realignment class, the times are:

day 1: 7:45 - 4pm, day 2 & 3: 8-4pm, day 4: 8am-12pm (noon)

It is to be presumed by all registrants that the course is moving forward. If a class is to be cancelled, you will receive notification by telephone. If a message cannot be left, then I will contact you via e-mail.

The remaining balance of the course is due on the first day of class. Payment is accepted as: cheque, money order or certified cheque made payable to: Sidonia McIntyre, cash or a printed receipt showing the payment has been made on line (if payment has been made 48 hours in advance of the course). Post dated cheques will not be accepted. The remaining balance must be paid on the first day of class or the student will not be permitted to take the manual home.

We do not have Visa/MC service at the course locations.

A receipt will be issued on the last day of class along with my GST/HST #

Pack: a lunch, sunscreen, hat, steel toed footware (if you have it), cushion or towel for sitting upon - some people like to bring collapsable chairs. I provide plastic stools if there are no chairs provided by the facility, and they can get quite uncomfortable. Please also pack gloves in case of cold weather- the dollar store thin gloves are perfect for massaging in cold weather- thick or leather gloves are not acceptable for massage.

Bug spray for yourself (and your horse if you are bringing your horse).

Although certainly not mandatory, it is always best to have your tetanus shot up to date as we do work in the barn - rusty nails and nips!

I do not allow video taping of the course or pictures of maneuvers , but you may bring your camera on the last day for group photos

Please print the waiver/release form. It is on the 'application forms' page directly below the link that brought you to this page. Please be sure to have someone witness and date the form. If the form is not done correctly, another must be filled out at the course. If you do not have a witness present, then a form can be filled out at the course.

Hotel/Motel/Lodging is the responsibility of each student. When possible, I list hotel/motel information on the course location page. The Chamber of Commerce is an excellent resource for finding accommodations.

Please exercise care and caution when on facility property as there are dogs, cats, horses and people. Please obey the speed limit - if one is not posted, the accepted limit is 15km/hr.
